David Walsh is the CEO and founder of CIM Enviro. He holds a degree in Computer Science (B.Sc) and is a certified consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in entrepreneurship, software development and energy management. He has successfully developed CIM Enviro to become a recognised leader in the growing smart buildings, energy efficiency and clean technology sector. Using his international experience gained with Fortune 100 companies, such as Intel and SAP, he has lead the software and mechanical engineering teams. He has successfully raised tens of millions of dollars of venture capital, secured valuable channel partners relationships in key sectors whilst successfully implementing CIM Enviro’s growth strategy.
David is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of our investors, CMCRC. David leads CMCRC’s finance, legal, HR and operations teams and is responsible for the overall design and delivery of CMCRC’s strategy. He is also the Company Secretary and General Counsel for the CMCRC Group Companies.
David’s career has encompassed academia, telecommunications, IT, government research and start-ups both in Australia and internationally. He has served in C-suite positions at firms including Macquarie University, NICTA and T3 Communications.
Prior to joining CMCRC, David founded education strategy and design firm HECG, one of ten start-ups he has been involved with. These include education accessibility not-for- profit the Global Access Project, as well as a public affairs and investment firm, Aqua Ventures (formerly Wright Corporate Group).
David holds a B.Comm and LLB from the University of Canberra and a GDLP from the Australian National University. He is admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of the ACT.
Paul has over 35 years of experience in commercial and residential asset management, development, and real estate broking with major multinational institutions. He currently maintains a strong network of relationships with the major REIT’s, broking firms, and pension/financial groups both in Australia, Asia, and North America. Paul is an Independent Non-Executive Director of listed public groups ALE Property Group (ASX) and Frasers Logistics Trust (SGX). He has over 35 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate with major multinational groups JLL, Lend Lease and DEXUS. Paul is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Valuers and The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds Graduate Diplomas in Finance & Investment and Financial Planning as well as an Associate Diploma of Real Estate Valuation.
Greg Baster has had a successful career in the technology sector for over 40 years in a range of start-up, corporate and consulting roles. He has held CIO/CTO/GM roles in companies such as Bankers Trust, Macquarie Group, Lend Lease, ING Australia, Challenger, NAB and The GPT Group. He has also been an Independent Non-Executive Director for CMCRC which successfully incubated research to gain successful commercial outcomes. Greg is currently Managing Director of Inari Group, a management consulting firm with a track record of creating significant business value from technology in enterprises. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics & Commerce) degree with a major in Computer Science.
Philip Cronin is the Adobe VP and Director, Asia Pacific, the leading Digital experience software for emerging artists to global brands providing everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences.
He is a Director of eClipse Innovation, a consultancy company focused on delivering solutions to
business problems for Asia Pacific clients.
He is a former Senior Executive with Intel Corporation, 1997-2016, was Director of Intel Asia-Pacific and Japan from 2012 to 2016. He is advisor to Federal, State and International governments on ICT strategy.
