About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the CMO will be a key member of the executive team. As the CMO, you will lead the company through a transformational stage of marketing capability, with a focus on the digital customer experience and 1:1 communication strategies. Your ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, assess and understand our customers intimately and experience in people leadership will set you apart in being the successful candidate for this role.

Your day to day duties:

  • Leadership, structuring and management of the marketing team
  • Designing, managing and evaluating the performance of the company’s group and divisional marketing strategies including customer acquisition, retention and branding
  • Designing and managing customer insights strategy to maximise return on investment from marketing activities and closeness to customer
  • Engaging with third party stakeholders and service providers to assist executing the company’s marketing strategies
  • Composition of and management of major company-wide integrated marketing campaigns
  • Working with CIM’s product development team to proactively plan product roadmaps based on customer insights
  • Marketing budget responsibilities including return on investment analysis
  • Provide periodic reporting on key marketing activities, performance and priorities

About you:

  • You have a University level qualification (Bachelors or Masters) in Marketing or Communications
  • You have a minimum of 5 years working experience in marketing, with specific involvement with integrated campaigns, digital strategies, data analytics and team management
  • You have a minimum 3 years of Executive leadership experience managing small to medium marketing functions
  • You have experience reporting to and communicating with both Executive and Board
  • You are creative, innovative, forward thinking and prepared to challenge the norm, test, try and learn approach
  • You are digital savvy and understand opportunities for automation and AI in marketing activities
  • You have the ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving operating environment
