David Walsh


David Walsh is the CEO and founder of CIM Enviro. He holds a degree in Computer Science (B.Sc), is a certified consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in entrepreneurship, software development and energy management. He has successfully developed CIM Enviro to become a recognised leader in the growing smart buildings, energy efficiency and clean technology sector. Using his international experience gained with Fortune 100 companies, such as Intel and SAP, he has lead the software and mechanical engineering teams. He has successfully raised tens of millions of dollars of venture capital, secured valuable channel partners relationships in key sectors whilst successfully implementing CIM Enviro’s growth strategy.


 Andreas Furch


Dr Andreas Furche has been involved in the development of financial technology start-up companies for 20 years, in Australia, the US, and Europe. As CEO of SMARTS, he led the development and growth of the globally leading market surveillance company, which was grown out of the CMCRC and acquired by NASDAQOMX in 2010. He developed the original commercialisation strategy of CMCRC in 2003, and was involved in the development of a number of other start-up businesses within CMCRC. This includes CMC-IS, Australia’s leading provider of fraud and error detection in health insurance claims, of which Andreas is now Chairman.

Prior to his involvement with the development of the CMCRC and its related companies, he was a Partner in Electronic Trading Concepts, which was sold to Securenet in 2000. In the 1990s, he worked as a software developer and project manager on the development and deployment of expert systems. Andreas was also deeply involved in one of the most interesting commercial failures of the early Internet – the attempt to bring electronic cash into global circulation with DigiCash in the mid to late 1990s. Paul Say


Paul has over 35 years of experience in commercial and residential asset management, development, and real estate broking with major multinational institutions. He currently maintains a strong network of relationships with the major REIT’s, broking firms, and pension/financial groups both in Australia, Asia, and North America. Paul is an Independent Non-Executive Director of listed public groups ALE Property Group (ASX) and Frasers Logistics Trust (SGX). He has over 35 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate with major multinational groups JLL, Lend Lease and DEXUS. Paul is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Valuers and The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds Graduate Diplomas in Finance & Investment and Financial Planning as well as an Associate Diploma of Real Estate Valuat.



Greg Baster


Greg Baster has had a successful career in the technology sector for over 40 years in a range of start-up, corporate and consulting roles.  He has held CIO/CTO/GM roles in companies such as Bankers Trust, Macquarie Group, Lend Lease, ING Australia, Challenger, NAB and The GPT Group.  He has also been an Independent Non-Executive Director for CMCRC which successfully incubated research to gain successful commercial outcomes.  Greg is currently Managing Director of Inari Group, a management consulting firm with a track record creating significant business value from technology in enterprises.  Greg holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics & Commerce) degree with a major in Computer Science.
